itsdown.ca is an independent, Canada-first outage tracker. When your internet, phone, power, bank, or a service you use seems broken, this tells you fast whether it’s just you — or down for everyone.
Our live checks. Every couple of minutes we run automated checks against each service’s public endpoints (can we reach it, does DNS resolve, does it connect). A responding website does not always mean the service itself is working — so we label exactly what each check proves.
Visitor reports. People tell us when something’s wrong. We compare the last few minutes to what’s normal for that service at that time of week. We also fold in network-level outage data from Cloudflare Radar when it corroborates a problem.
We never blend these into one fake up/down light. You see each signal and decide.
No accounts, no logins, no tracking who reports what — reports are anonymous. We’re not affiliated with any company listed here; names are used only to identify the service.
